I just thought I’d share some screenshots from the two part music video and short film I’ve just directed in the Tabernas Desert, Spain. As I suspected, the landscapes were outstanding, and it was a real honour to shoot in such fantastic locations.

Before flying out there with the band, small cast and small crew, I thought there would be some time for leisure and relaxation, but it turned out to be the most gruelling project of my careers, consisting of seventeen-hour days and 29 degree heat, in the middle of nowhere. It might sound odd, but I feel that the heat and dust and sleep deprivation helped me relate to the main character, who is seemingly trapped in a world of confusion and hardship. 

I’m meeting with the writers and producers Dan Cobb and Gary Turk to crack on with the edit today, and ACT I will hopefully be released within the next week. It is for the song ‘Adam’ by New Desert Blues.
